Oh, and in response to this:
"Nowhere on DA does it say you have to be 13+ to join, but they ban/kill people's accounts who are 13-. Think it's wrong? Then copy and paste this in your signature"
You guys are using the speed limit argument, and that's not right for this situation.
Here's the analogy:
The state doesn't put up speed limit signs along the road about how you can't go past 35 MPH, but they pull you over for going over 35 MPH, therefore, this is wrong.
And why it doesn't work:
In the speed limit analogy, they know exactly what speed you're going, it's not something you tell them.
On DA, you can say you're 33, 21, 12, 77, etc. Currently, they have no way of proving you're not 33, so to get the most truthful answer out of you, they don't tell you the rule, but still enforce it. So, imo, it's right.
I mean really, most people would just raise their age to bypass it, making the rule virtually nonexistent.
So what you guys are really asking for is that the rule be banished, but if you're doing that, look at why the rule was created in the first place. Then, place a request for them to make a child-safe version of DA.
That way, instead of the accounts being killed/banned, they would just be moved.
